Attabad Lake
Attabad Lake sits in the Gojal Region of District Hunza in Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan. This lake has become super popular among tourists visiting Gilgit−Baltistan. The lake was made back in 2010 when a big landslide blocked the Hunza River. The blockage made a huge lake with stunning blue water that stretches for about 14 kilometers long. The views around the lake are breathtaking with tall mountains surrounding it. Attabad Lake isn’t just a place to have fun; it’s a sight to behold!
The natural formation of Attabad Lake happened as a result of a big landslide in the Hunza Valley about 11 years ago. This lake has now become a lifeline for many locals.
